The most standard and widely used automatic irrigation solution for durian today is using sprinkler heads to irrigate under the canopy.

AUTOMATIC DURIAN IRRIGATION SOLUTION

In reality, for durian cultivation today, there is basically only one solution applied: Under-canopy sprinkler irrigation.

Accordingly, an automatic durian irrigation system includes a pump cluster, filtration unit, irrigation control equipment (controller, solenoid valves, etc.); a main pipeline system and sub-pipelines (typically PVC or HDPE pipes); a lateral (fishbone) pipe system (LDPE pipes) running along each durian row; and finally, sprinkler heads installed under each durian tree.

Some important notes:

It is recommended to use sprinkler heads with adjustable radius
For sloping land or large-scale projects (typically over 5 sào or 1,800 m²), pressure-compensating sprinklers should be used
As trees mature and their canopies expand, 1–2 additional sprinklers per tree may be needed. Therefore, pipe sizing should account for future expansion
For large projects, a detailed design is essential to ensure cost efficiency and meet technical requirements

All components are connected via fittings and joints to form a complete system.

Driptec dripline

Driptec Mini sprinkler DR07

Driptec Mini sprinkler DR07 is designed as a multi-purpose sprinkler that can apply to many vegetable crops and fruit trees with options with or without pressure compensation function, 5/8″ thread connection or 1/4″ bard connector.

We also add one more option for more convenience choice is the valve for each sprinkler.

IMPORTANT NOTE: WHEN DESIGNING THE SYSTEM, PIPE SIZES SHOULD BE OVERSIZED TO ALLOW FOR ADDING MORE SPRINKLERS AS TREES GROW LARGER.
